During this course the students learn the principles of decompression dives to 60 m/200 ft depth using Trimix gas mixtures, they learn to plan and conduct multistage decompression stops using several decompression gases. On completion of this level, divers will be able to utilize both normoxic and hypoxic back gas mixtures not to exceed a PO2 = 1.4 ATA and a PN2 of 2.75 to 3.18 ATA (END of 24-30 m/80-100 ft).
