The first basic course in TDI system introduces the diving technique with the use of enriched air with 21-40 % of oxygen: advantages and features to certificated divers.
What will you learn?
During this course, you’ll use TDI Tables to plan a nitrox dive taking advantage of EAD calculations. Create a plan for a nitrox dive to a maximum operating depth (MOD), demonstrate correct use of oxygen analyzer, demonstrate correct cylinder management and labeling. This course allows making the most out of Nitrox advantages at multiple and long dives during entertaining and recreational diving.
Course description
This course is the first step in a tremendous way to the technical diving. The course introduces the story of EAN (Enriched Air Nitrox), pros and cons of EAN, physics and physiological aspects of dives with enriched air. Special attention is drawn to the planning of dives with the help of tables, various kinds of underwater computers and their use, as well as to technique of mixing and analysis of a gas mixture.
For whom is Nitrox diver TDI course?
This technical course is more for recreational divers who want to know all aspect of enriched air diving hazards and benefits.
