Those who prefer a more quiet atmosphere would enjoy staying 20 kilometers to the north-west from Las Americas, in another tourist attraction, a small town called Los Gigantes. This resort is situated near the Teno mountain range and is protected by its great rocks from the cold winds and waves. Los Gigantes is a true paradise for those who love diving, fishing and boat trips. You can find accommodation here for all tastes.
- BUDGET AND EASY
The most affordable options is better to look for in other places, for instance in the very south of Tenerife at Costa del Silencio resort. This resort would be really attractive for those guests of the island who value peace but would also like to save some money. You wouldn’t see the stunning views here like you would near Los Gigantes. Also, the resort is located near the airport of the island. There are neither noisy clubs and, nor big long beaches in Costa del Silencio. But what this place does have is a lot of interesting places for diving, and in a small town El Medano nearby you will find all the right conditions for wind and kitesurfing.
